After returning to the Internal Medicine department in 1991, Dr. Wan worked as a House Physician, then as the department's Physician-in-Charge in 1994, and subsequently as the Deputy Physician-in-Chief in 1999. He specialises in internal medicine, pain relief, arthritis, dermatological disorders, and eye disorders.
In 2002, Dr. Wan moved to the UK and has since worked as a Chinese medicine practitioner in clinics across the country. He also worked as an Associate Chief Physician in the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University from 1998 until 2002. During this time, he led the clinical training of third and final year students of the BSc Chinese Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine.
