Dr Yasuko Maeda

Dr Yasuko Maeda is a compassionate Consultant General Surgeon with expertise in Colorectal Surgery and pelvic floor disorders. With a professional approach centred on patient comfort and active decision-making, she provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing complex gastrointestinal and bowel issues. Dr Maeda graduated with her medical qualification from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 2000. She expanded her academic and clinical expertise by completing a Master of Philosophy at the University of London and a Doctor of Medical Science degree at Aarhus University. Her professional qualifications include Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and Fellowship of the European Board of Surgery in Coloproctology. She also holds an academic position as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer.
