Dr Susan Addley

Dr Susan Addley is a highly skilled Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon and Obstetrician who specialises in the comprehensive care of women with complex gynaecological conditions. With a dedicated focus on gynaecological oncology, she is expert in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvo-vaginal cancers. Dr Addley is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring that each individual receives a reassuring and tailored treatment plan designed to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

As an expert in advanced pelvic surgery, Dr Addley possesses specialised skills in performing cytoreductive ultra-radical surgery, advanced laparoscopy, and vulvo-vaginal surgery. She is also fully accredited in colposcopy by the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP), allowing her to provide precise assessments and treatments for abnormal cervical screenings. Her clinical interests extend to complex obstetric procedures, including the management of placenta accreta spectrum and stepwise pelvic devascularisation, reflecting her broad expertise across both obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Addley obtained her primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO) with Honours. She went on to complete a prestigious Clinical Fellowship in Gynaecology Oncology in Oxford and earned a Master of Science in Surgical Science and Practice from the University of Oxford. In 2018, she achieved membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG).
