Dr Suraiya Abdi

Dr Suraiya Abdi is a highly respected Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for women's health. Serving as a Clinical Director and Cancer Lead, she specialises in a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological services. Her clinical practice is characterised by an empathetic, patient-centred approach, ensuring that every individual receives personalised and reassuring care during what can often be stressful times.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Abdi has specialist skills in gynaecological surgery, including minimal access and laparoscopic procedures. She is highly proficient in diagnosing gynaecological cancers, managing high-risk pregnancies, and performing operative outpatient hysteroscopy. Her expertise also extends to early pregnancy care, acute gynaecology, and reproductive endocrinology. Dr Abdi obtained her primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and completed her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology.
