I cannot recommend Dr Thakar highly enough. From my very first consultation with her, I felt complete trust in her expertise and guidance. On the day of my open myomectomy, what truly set her apart was the deeply personal and reassuring way she approached our pre-surgery discussion. She took the time to sit right beside me on the bed and explained all the necessary details slowly, gently and with genuine care. Her warm, reassuring demeanour felt almost like a mother comforting you through a daunting moment, which brought me an immense sense of calm, ease, and confidence going into theatre. At my 6-week follow up appointment, she reassured me once again by patiently answering my entire laundry list of post op questions and concerns. Although I had spoken with the nurses during my wound check ups, finally hearing that confirmation directly from her gave me such true peace of mind to fully move forward. Dr Thakar is a truly special consultant who blends exceptional clinical skills with deep empathy. I am immensely grateful for the care I received under her hands.

Ms Thakar is an amazing consultant incredibly knowledgeable and so wise. She is very client centred listening to my concerns and prepared to offer innovative solutions that have changed my life. I am recommending her to friends, colleagues and patients and particularly those who feel they are struggling to be heard. From the first appointment I was confident she had my best interests at heart and that she would work with to improve my situation. Her support team are also excellent, responsive making the overall experience outstanding.

Dr. Ranee Thaker showed great professionalism, while also being warm and caring. She was able to make a diagnosis very quickly, and I really appreciated her recommendations and the time she took to answer all my (many) questions.

Dr Thakar was very attentive, listened to my long list of symptoms and qualms. Based on that she recommended several tests which then led on to an operation. All went very well and smoothly, I was explained everything throughout the whole process which made me feel reassured part of the journey, and confident the right decisions were being made.

I cannot recommend Professor Tucker highly enough. From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease. She was warm, professional and incredibly easy to talk to, and I felt that she genuinely listened to me and understood my concerns. She explained everything clearly and thoroughly and gave me so much reassurance. I came away from my appointment feeling extremely positive — and, best of all, I was told that there is currently no evidence of lichen sclerosus, which was wonderful news. Professor Tucker’s knowledge, professionalism and manner are exceptional.
