Dr Thakar was very attentive, listened to my long list of symptoms and qualms. Based on that she recommended several tests which then led on to an operation. All went very well and smoothly, I was explained everything throughout the whole process which made me feel reassured part of the journey, and confident the right decisions were being made.

Exemplary care thoughout. Professor Thaker took time to really listen to my symptoms and after 6 years of struggling and consulting with 4 previous gynaecologisys has finally completely cured my symtoms, which will be life changing for me. I cannot recommend her and her team more highly and feel so lucky to have found her.

I cannot recommend Professor Tucker highly enough. From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease. She was warm, professional and incredibly easy to talk to, and I felt that she genuinely listened to me and understood my concerns. She explained everything clearly and thoroughly and gave me so much reassurance. I came away from my appointment feeling extremely positive — and, best of all, I was told that there is currently no evidence of lichen sclerosus, which was wonderful news. Professor Tucker’s knowledge, professionalism and manner are exceptional. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced gynaecologist, particularly anyone who may be worried or anxious about a vulval or gynaecological condition. I am extremely grateful for the care and reassurance I received.
