Dr Simon Grant

Dr Simon Grant is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who specialises in maternal and foetal medicine. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, Dr Grant supports expectant mothers through all stages of pregnancy, high-risk care, and childbirth. His clinical practice focuses on ensuring the highest standards of safety for both mother and baby, providing reassuring guidance and evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient's individual needs.

With extensive expertise in complex obstetrics, Dr Grant has dedicated much of his career to foetal assessment and high-risk maternity care. His clinical interests include foetal medicine, advanced obstetric ultrasound scanning, labour ward management, and placenta accreta spectrum disorders. Additionally, Dr Grant plays a key role in obstetric emergency training and clinical simulation, helping to advance safety standards across maternity services.

Dr Grant completed his specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the South West of England and Auckland, New Zealand. He undertook clinical research in Southampton before completing formal sub-specialty training in Maternal & Foetal Medicine in Birmingham. A Fellow aligned with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr Grant actively participates in ongoing professional development and regional training initiatives.
