Dr Shachi Mudgal

Dr Shachi Mudgal is a Consultant Obstetrician and Consultant Gynaecologist dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care to women at every stage of pregnancy and gynaecological health. Specialising in maternal medicine and high-risk obstetrics, Dr Mudgal focuses on supporting individuals through complex obstetric conditions while maintaining a patient-centred approach. Her practice is built on open communication and personalised care, ensuring that women and their families feel informed, supported, and reassured throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Mudgal earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree before undertaking comprehensive postgraduate specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She undertook advanced sub-specialty training in Labour Ward Practice and Maternal Medicine, reflecting her commitment to complex obstetric care. Dr Mudgal is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education, actively participating in clinical training and academic development for future medical practitioners.

Her clinical interests encompass a wide spectrum of maternal and reproductive health needs. Dr Mudgal serves as a clinical lead in perinatal mental health, working in multidisciplinary teams to support patients experiencing complex emotional and mental health conditions during pregnancy and the postnatal period. Additionally, she holds extensive experience in managing endocrinological disorders during pregnancy, particularly diabetes, as well as providing comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies, prenatal monitoring, and general gynaecological health.
