Dr Sanjay Sisodiya

Dr Sanjay Sisodiya is a highly respected Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Neurology who specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex neurological conditions, particularly severe and difficult-to-treat epilepsy. Dr Sisodiya completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Cambridge, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1985 and a Master of Arts in 1990. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1988, followed by qualification as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1991. He subsequently completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in quantitative brain magnetic resonance imaging at the University of London in 1996. His professional standing is reflected in his active leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Epilepsy Advisory Group of the Association of British Neurologists and Chair of the International League Against Epilepsy Joint Task Force on Clinical Genetic Testing.
