About Dementech Neurosciences
Dementech Neurosciences is a private clinic located in the heart of London's Medical District. Healthcare experts from all over the world have been brought together to provide the finest medical care and support. These experts include neurologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, neuropsychologists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dieticians, geriatricians and speech and language therapists.
The patients are provided with care packages, as well as treatments and they are provided under supervision. As well as the medical care and treatments that are offered, the consultants carry out in-depth research. This adds to their understanding of neurological and psychological problems and so they are able to develop their treatments, thus improving the overall outcome for their patients.
The treatments offered include management and treatment of Dementia (Alzheimer's disease), movement disorders (Parkinson's disease), headaches, migraines and mental health problems. Patients who have undergone the usual treatments without having significant outcomes can also be offered more complex and intensive therapies.
The consultants at Dementech believe that through diagnosing a patient's condition followed by prescribing therapeutic drugs and offering emotional support is the standard method of all mental health clinics. Through moving away from this classical model system more progress can be made through developing new systems. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases are incurable but whilst treatments are being developed multidisciplinary care can be provided at Dementech. This involves the patients receiving different therapeutic methods from a range of specialists with complementary skills. Furthermore, communication is essential between experts to ensure the correct treatments are delivered in a coordinated holistic approach.

It’s been an absolute relief to have contacted the Dementech Doctor. Josephine the secretary is incredibly helpful patient and provided all the information in due time, as well as assisting my inquiry of meeting with the psychiatrist Dr Ajoy Thachil, who made himself available for my consultation. Same day consultation with an excellent neurologist Dr d’Anna after suffering a concussion. He provided me with an urgent referral for a scan after reviewing my symptoms and I had answers within a few days. A follow up consultation was not required which was appreciated as I was self paying. The supporting staff were excellent too and replied to my emails immediately.

We travelled from Northern Ireland as our daughter had been very unwell for almost 2 years and we could never get anywhere with a diagnosis within Ireland. Our daughter had an appointment with Dr Rahul Bharat on Tuesday 30 May 2023. From the moment we entered the consultation room, Dr Rahul really made us feel welcome. He listened to us. He was compassionate and had a very caring nature. Within less than a half hour we had a diagnosis that we had been waiting on for almost two years. From the first phone call with Josephine the receptionist to the professionalism and caring compassionate nature in which we received I would highly recommend Dr Bharat and Dementech Neurosciences. That's why I give a 5 star rating.
