Dr Samantha Bonner

Dr Samantha Bonner is a highly dedicated Consultant Obstetrician specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. With a profound commitment to maternal and foetal well-being, she focuses on providing comprehensive, patient-centred care throughout all stages of pregnancy. Her clinical practice encompasses general high-risk obstetrics, where she supports expectant mothers through complex journeys with reassurance and professional expertise. She is particularly passionate about ensuring safe, high-quality care during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.

In addition to her general obstetric practice, Dr Bonner has developed a significant clinical interest in maternal medicine and high-risk intrapartum care. She plays a pivotal role in specialised multidisciplinary teams, notably providing advanced care for pregnant women with complex acquired and inherited cardiac conditions. Dr Bonner completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Sheffield, qualifying in 2007. She was later appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician. Committed to continuous professional development, she holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and has achieved formal expert witness accreditation. Dr Bonner is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the UK Maternal Cardiology Society.
