Dr Saladin Sawan

Dr Saladin Sawan is a highly distinguished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with sub-specialist expertise in gynaecological oncology and complex pelvic surgery. Specialising in the diagnosis and management of both benign and malignant conditions affecting the female reproductive system, Dr Sawan provides patient-centred, empathetic care tailored to the individual needs of every patient. His clinical approach encompasses a comprehensive spectrum of care, ranging from general obstetric and gynaecological consultations to intricate surgical interventions.

Dr Sawan completed extensive postgraduate medical training in the United Kingdom, earning a Doctor of Medicine alongside a Certificate of Completion of Training in gynaecological oncology surgery. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical research and academic advancement, he earned a Master of Research in cancer immunology in endometrial cancer as well as a Doctor of Philosophy investigating the mechanisms of ovarian cancer metastasis from the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute at the University of Manchester. Dr Sawan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, where he has held the position of Vice-Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee.
