Dr Sajida Rasul

Dr Sajida Rasul is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician specialising in Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, child-centred care, she provides comprehensive evaluation and ongoing management for infants, children, and young people with a broad spectrum of acute and complex health conditions. Dr Rasul works collaboratively with young patients and their families, tailoring treatment plans that prioritise clinical well-being, growth, and long-term quality of life.

Her clinical focus encompasses autoimmune and inflammatory disorders affecting children and teenagers. Dr Rasul possesses specialised expertise in managing conditions such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus, paediatric vasculitis, and inflammatory uveitis. In addition to her direct clinical commitments, she is passionate about medical education and clinical research, regularly developing simulation-based teaching programmes to train medical students and junior doctors.

Dr Rasul completed her undergraduate medical degree before undertaking rigorous postgraduate clinical training in General Paediatrics and specialist Paediatric Rheumatology. She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and holds full registration with the General Medical Council. Dr Rasul also holds prominent educational leadership roles, including serving as an Associate Hospital Dean, and actively contributes to published research aimed at enhancing therapeutic outcomes for young patients with rheumatic diseases.
