Dr Renuka Dias

Dr Renuka Dias is a dedicated Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist and Paediatrician who specialises in young people's hormonal, metabolic, and general health needs. She provides holistic, high-quality care for infants, children, and young adults, ensuring every patient and family receives personalised and empathetic support. Dr Dias is committed to delivering evidence-based clinical care while fostering an environment of trust and reassurance.

Dr Dias earned her Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Nottingham. She later completed a PhD in Genomic Medicine at Queen Mary University of London. Demonstrating her commitment to clinical standards in child health, she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH). Alongside her clinical work, she serves as an Honorary Associate Clinical Professor, contributing actively to higher education, medical training, and clinical research.

Her expertise encompasses a broad range of paediatric endocrine conditions, with specific emphasis on Type 1 Diabetes, growth disorders, paediatric obesity, and thyroid conditions such as Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer. Dr Dias also plays a prominent role in national specialised services for rare paediatric conditions, including Wolfram Syndrome, and has contributed to national and international clinical practice guidelines. She is actively involved in innovative research exploring early detection methods for diabetes as well as modern immunotherapies, ensuring her clinical practice remains at the forefront of paediatric medicine.
