Dr Razia Petkar is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides compassionate, patient-centred care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in General Paediatrics and child health, she focuses on supporting young patients and their families through every stage of development. Dr Petkar is committed to delivering thorough diagnostic evaluations and tailored treatment plans, ensuring that every child receives high-quality medical care in a reassuring environment.

In addition to general paediatric care, Dr Petkar holds a clinical interest in paediatric diabetes and child health management. Her work encompasses the diagnosis and management of Type 1 diabetes in children, glycaemic control optimisation, and the integration of continuous glucose monitoring technologies. She actively contributes to clinical quality improvement projects and medical research aimed at enhancing long-term health outcomes and managing metabolic conditions in young patients.

Dr Petkar completed her medical degree alongside extensive postgraduate specialty training in Paediatrics. She is affiliated with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and serves as an RCPCH College Tutor, taking an active role in educating and mentoring postgraduate paediatric doctors.
