Dr Rami Wakim

Dr Rami Wakim is a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine, with over 25 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. His passion for reproductive medicine began when he developed a strong interest in the field of assisted reproductive technology while working at the prestigious Rizk Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon.

Dr Wakim has trained in various hospitals around the world and obtained his membership to the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2000. He continued his fertility training with a clinical fellowship at the University College London Hospital (UCLH) and Imperial College London, where he collaborated on publishing a crucial paper on the role of AMH in assessing ovarian reserve. He is now a fully registered Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 2010.

Dr Wakim has worked with some of the leading professionals in the field of reproductive medicine and fertility treatments, including IVF Hammersmith, Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Centre (ARGC), Harley Street Fertility Clinic (HSFC), Create Fertility, Gennet City Fertility and Reproductive Health Group, among others. He is an established Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine, working in the private sector since 2013, and he has been recognised for his clinical expertise and high standards of patient care.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Wakim is also a visiting Senior Lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University and a Faculty examiner at the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the MRCOG part 3 Exam. He is passionate about medical education. He is highly skilled in laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery and holds a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from GSES in Germany.

Dr Wakim speaks fluent French and Arabic. He is also a member of internationally recognised societies such as the British Fertility Society (BFS), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG), and Middle East Fertility Society (MEFS).
