About Dr Jeffrey Ahmed
Dr Jeffrey Ahmed is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with over 10 years of experience. He completed his medical degree at Imperial College London in 2009 after completing his undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management at Imperial College Business School. He then completed his initial postgraduate training followed by his specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training on the North West London training programme.
Dr Ahmed later completed further training with an advanced fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at King's College Hospital. He was appointed as a Consultant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2019 and became Lead Clinician in 2020 and Service Director in 2022.
Dr Ahmed has expertise in the treatment and management of fibroids, endometriosis, heavy periods, period pain and polyps. He is extensive expertise in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, including hysteroscopy and hysterectomy, as well as robotic surgery.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Ahmed presents and lectures widely in his area of expertise and has won several prizes for his work, including the Gold Laparoscopic award in 2019, and trains surgeons across Europe in robotic surgery for which he is a proctor. He holds professional memberships with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.

All very good, professional, a small but necessary degree of discomfort but not painful.
The facility was lovely, clean modern. Dr Ahmed was professional, friendly and personable. I felt that i was finally listened to and taken seriously by a doctor and i feel that i am in good hands for my upcoming procedures.

Dr Ahmed did my robotic hysterectomy. He came highly recommended to me and is an incredible doctor using a minimally invasive technique. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. In particular he was easily contactable post op to provide advice and reassurance.
Mr Ahmed listened well and was sympathetic to my health concerns A course of action was decided and the treatment outlined very clearly I am really satisfied with the consultation and have every confidence in the treatment to come
