Dr Rajesh Krishnamoorthy

Dr Krishnamoorthy underwent specialist training in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in the Midlands and was appointed as consultant gastroenterologist at Royal Derby Hospital in 2014. His specialist interests are in luminal gastroenterology, which encompasses conditions/ symptoms such as reflux disease, dyspepsia (indigestion), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), coeliac disease, cancer exclusion, bowel polyp removal, clinical nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He regularly performs endoscopy procedures namely gastroscopy, colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy (both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures). He is an accredited trainer in endoscopy and has regular training lists in endoscopy to help trainees who want to learn endosocopy.
