Mr Quentin Nunes

Mr Quentin Nunes is a Consultant General Surgeon who delivers high-quality surgical care to patients requiring both routine and complex surgical procedures. With broad clinical expertise spanning general, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic surgery, he focuses on delivering patient-centred, evidence-based treatment plans. He is dedicated to ensuring patients are well-informed, comfortable, and fully supported at every stage of their surgical journey.

Mr Nunes completed his initial medical training with MBBS and Master of Surgery (MS) degrees, later obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Surgery and Oncology from the University of Liverpool. He completed Higher Surgical Training within the East Midlands and Mersey deaneries and attained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in General Surgery. He is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for General Surgery and holds professional membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Nunes is an active Clinical Academic, Medical Educator, and former Clinical Lead in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He has served as a University Lecturer and teaching faculty member at both the University of Nottingham and the University of Liverpool, earning the J D Hardcastle Prize for Undergraduate Teaching. His translational surgical research has been supported by multiple national research fellowships, resulting in numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributions to major medical textbooks.
