Dr Nicholas Webb

Dr Nicholas Webb is a Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist and Paediatrician dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care for children and young people experiencing kidney conditions and general paediatric concerns. With extensive clinical knowledge, Dr Webb focuses on delivering compassionate assessment and management for a broad spectrum of paediatric renal diseases. His holistic approach ensures that young patients and their families receive tailored clinical support throughout diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing long-term care.

Dr Webb completed his medical degree at the University of Nottingham, qualifying in 1986. He subsequently undertook specialist postgraduate training in Paediatric Nephrology across recognised clinical centres in Melbourne, Brisbane, Toronto, and Manchester. Reflecting his dedication to academic excellence and clinical standards, Dr Webb is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Throughout his career, Dr Webb has maintained a strong focus on clinical research and medical education to improve health outcomes in paediatric nephrology. Serving in academic roles as an Honorary Professor and Medical Director in clinical research facilities, he has acted as Chief Investigator for major national clinical trials evaluating innovative treatments for childhood renal disease. His contributions to the field also include co-authoring and editing international handbooks and textbooks in paediatric nephrology.

Dr Webb possesses particular clinical expertise in childhood nephrotic syndrome, kidney transplantation, chronic kidney disease, and paediatric hypertension. In addition, his work encompasses acute kidney injury, haemolytic uraemic syndrome, and renal metabolic conditions. By combining evidence-based medicine with reassuring family guidance, Dr Webb strives to optimise health, educational, and developmental outcomes for every child under his care.
