Dr Nadia Amin

Dr Nadia Amin is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist who specialises in diagnosing and managing hormone-related conditions in children and young people. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she provides expert care for a wide range of endocrine disorders, ensuring that young patients and their families feel supported throughout their medical journey. Her clinical practice focuses on delivering tailored treatment plans that promote the long-term health and well-being of children.

Her areas of clinical expertise encompass a broad spectrum of paediatric endocrine and metabolic conditions. Dr Amin has a particular interest in managing growth disorders, such as short stature, as well as thyroid and adrenal disorders, including congenital adrenal hyperplasia. She also provides specialist care for children with puberty concerns, genital abnormalities, and pituitary malformations. Additionally, she is actively involved in the management of type 1 diabetes in children and has a strong interest in adolescent gender identity development and metabolic bone diseases.

Dr Amin completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Cambridge, where she obtained her Master of Arts degree in 2002. She then went on to pursue her medical training at the University of Edinburgh, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2005. Committed to advancing her field, she has also worked as a Clinical Research Fellow. Dr Amin is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and actively contributes to the British Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, where she serves as the CME Officer and Academic Liaison Officer.
