Ms Pilar Matey

Ms Pilar Matey is a General Surgeon currently working at the private practise Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital and her current NHS post is the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, whom she has worked for since January 2001. Her area of specialism is breast surgery and her areas of interest are breast cancer and breast reconstruction.

Ms Matey graduated from Autonoma University, in Madrid, Spain, in 1990. She became me a fully registered physician in November 1991. Ms Matey is the lead for breast reconstruction at the current NHS post and she works closely with University Hospital Birmingham and National Oncoplastic Trainees.

Ms Matey is also interested in research regarding her areas of interest, she has published in many peer reviewed scientific journals.
