Ms Claire Cheetham

Ms Claire Cheetham is an experienced osteopath. She has a strong interest in healthcare regulation and professional standards. Her career includes lecturing to other osteopaths, including undergraduate students, on these topics. In addition, she has held several roles in professional education, including Senior Lecturer and Senior Clinic Tutor to undergraduate osteopaths. She also has experience as a Trainer in patient-handling techniques for home-carers and NHS staff, display screen equipment use, manual-handling, and ergonomic risk assessment.

Ms Cheetham has also dedicated her time to various professional regulatory organisations. She served as a Registrant member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and was also a member of the GOsC's Investigating Committee, and Professional Conduct Committee. 

Currently, as well as continuing clinical practice, she serves as a regulatory adjudicator and chairperson for several UK health and social care regulators.
