Mrs Emma Mizzi

Emma Mizzi is an experienced osteopath with a background in both NHS and private practice, where she has treated a wide variety of patients ranging from the elderly and office workers to athletes. She has successfully managed numerous musculoskeletal conditions, including sports-related injuries and pregnancy-related complaints, and is particularly passionate about exercise rehabilitation.

Her journey into osteopathy began with her lifelong involvement in dance and the personal injuries she experienced along the way. This led her to complete a four-year Master’s degree in Osteopathy, equipping her with an in-depth understanding of the human body, the mechanisms of dysfunction, and the body’s remarkable ability to adapt and self-heal. Emma takes a compassionate, patient-centred approach, focusing on identifying the root cause of pain, educating her patients, and encouraging active participation in recovery.

Alongside her osteopathic practice, Emma has completed APPI Pilates Matwork Teacher Training, allowing her to integrate Pilates-based stretching and strengthening into her treatment plans. She offers both one-to-one and small group clinical Pilates sessions, designed to maintain spinal health, improve mobility, and build core strength. Her osteopathic knowledge informs her teaching, ensuring sessions are tailored for injury rehabilitation, prevention, and long-term wellbeing.

Emma is particularly interested in helping individuals manage pain and recover through movement, creating bespoke exercise programmes that promote posture, flexibility, balance, and control. Her goal is always to empower patients with the tools and knowledge to support their own recovery and achieve lasting results.
