About Mr Simon Bott
Mr Simon Bott is a Consultant Urologist at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. He sees patients privately at Spire Clare Park Hospital , The Hampshire Clinic and The Parkside Suite at Frimley. Mr Bott graduated from St Bartholemew's and The Royal London Hospital in 1994 having completed his undergraduate medical training. He then went on to complete 6 years of general surgical training before undertaking research into prostate cancer at the Institue of Urology, University College London. Mr Bott started his specialist urological training in 2003 at St George's Hospital, London, during which time he developed an interest in prostate cancer, laser prostate surgery and stone disease affecting the kidneys and the bladder.
Mr Bott treats a wide range of urological problems and of particular interest to him is the minimally invasive treatment of prostate cancer, from its diagnosis through to fusion guided targeted biopsies and prostate cancer focal therapy.

Mr Bott is an outstanding consultant - I have nothing but praise for him. He has managed for the last 6 years my continuing issues related to kidney stones (of which I have regretfully had more than the number of Henry VIII wives) but throughout he has been very approachable caring and reassuring. He has a friendly and engaging manner which has always added to my confidence in him as a specialist. He clearly cares for his patients showing at all times a human touch and, where appropriate, a sense of humour. Regretfully he is an ardent supporter of Arsenal but even I as a Manchester United supporter I always feel reassured throughout all my interactions with Mr Bott. I would recommend without hesitation.

Simon reassured me that the symptoms being experience would eventually disappear with time. My only concern is that I cannot see him again unless I pay privately. Not wanting to do that means that my follow up in 3 months time will probably have to be cancelled. He told me I could only see him on the NHS after a one year waiting list !
