Mr Robert Straw

Mr Robert Shaw is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over two decades of experience in the treatment and management of knee issues. He sees private patients at the Royal Derby Hospital and Nuffield Health Derby Hospital.

Mr Shaw gained his primary medical qualification at Leicester University, and went on to train in Nottingham and Derby. He also gained a Sports Knee Surgery fellowship in New Zealand, where he had the opportunity to work with Mr Mark Clatworthy, renowned for treating the injuries of rugby players. Upon completion, Mr Straw was appointed Consultant at Royal Derby Hospital, where has since gone on to lead a private practice and carry out 100+ knee replacement per year.
