Mr Peter Loughenbury

I am a fellowship trained spinal surgeon and offer surgical treatment for a full range of spinal conditions. My entire practice is focused on spinal surgery and I perform over 300 spinal operations each year.

I studied medicine at the University of Leeds and completed both basic and higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics in the Yorkshire Deanery. I then gained specialits training in complex spinal surgery in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine as the National Spine Fellow at Leeds General Infirmary - a combined neurosurgical and orthopaedic fellowship. I built on this experience with felloship posts with the Scottish National Spinal Deformity Service at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, and as an AO Spine Fellow at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
