I submit outcome data on all major arterial procedures to the National Vascular Registry which produces annual reports available to the public.

I work in very close conjunctions with colleagues from different disciplines in medicine to offer you a complete treatment. If I cannot personally help you I will gladly direct you to a colleague who might be able to.

I qualified in medicine from teh Universiy of Cambridge, trained in East Anglia, the Birmingham and Yorkshire. I have been a member of the Council of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and member of the Council of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland. I examine for the Felowship of the Royal Colege of Surgeons (FRCSS) and for the European Board of Vascular Surgery.

Qualifications

I qualified from the University of Cambridge with the Lewin Prize in Surgery. I had a broad training in General Surgery before specialising in vascular surgery from 1997. I was awarded the Gold Medal of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland in my final FRCS exams. My MD research was carried out at the University of Leeds on the subject of blood flow in vessels.

I served on the Council of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and have also served on the Council of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland of which I remain a member. I am an enthusiastic examiner for the FRCS and FEBVS qualifications as well as for the University of Oxford Medical School.

I love my job and enjoy helping patients to decide what treatment suits them best and then to carry it out with the help of the expert team around me.

In my leisure time I enjoy walking, cricket and work for several secular and Christian charities.
