Mr Ahmed Elbasty

Mr Ahmed Elbasty is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with expertise in arterial disease, venous disorders and minimally invasive vascular procedures. He practises privately with Spire Healthcare and Veincentre, and also holds an NHS consultant post at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

His clinical practice covers the assessment and treatment of varicose veins, thread veins, leg ulcers, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aneurysms and diabetic vascular complications. He also manages circulatory problems affecting the lower limbs and provides treatment planning for both routine and complex vascular conditions.

Mr Elbasty has a specialist interest in endovascular and minimally invasive techniques, including ultrasound-guided procedures, catheter-based interventions and modern treatments for venous insufficiency. His work includes open and endovascular surgery where clinically indicated, with management tailored to the underlying vascular diagnosis and individual patient needs.
