Mr Kevin Turner's consultations are professional, clear, and reassuring. He explains diagnoses, complex medical information, surgical procedures such as prostatectomy, vasectomy, and urostomy, and future options. Patients value his expertise and kind manner, which makes sensitive discussions simple. His practice covers general urology and prostate cancer.
Dr Turner is a specialist in his field, therefore his assessment and conclusion aligned well with what I already knew, and that which I didn't. He was thorough, detailed, and always careful to explain the pro's and Con's of the information available, however, for me it was much better than I expected, but I shall keep monitoring as per his recommendation. Overall I was highly pleased with his professionalism and manner, and would not hesitate in recommending him if you are looking for a specialist in this field.
Easy to talk to about sensitive matters. Open and understanding. Never felt rushed. Thorough in his screening and explanation. A great doctor.
Mr Turner was very understanding and took an in depth background of my situation. Arranged all the necessary tests in a swift manner with quick updates.
A welcoming, reassuring, supportive and friendly manner….clear explanations and exchange of knowledge and information. Very responsive to concerns and queries raised whether during consultations or via e mail etc at other times. Would recommend to others with similar medical issues
Everything explained clearly and consultant also took time to check some other unrelated issues I had been having. He is very supportive and understanding
My experience of Mr Turner is that he is an empathetic, kind and caring clinician with a genuine interest in his patients. He has a calm demeanor, backed by experience and knowledge and gives clear explanations with the offer of support beyond the consultation to seek further information or reassurance (perfect for those "I wish I'd asked" moments). His admin support is exemplary. A small but significant detail which I particularly appreciated was the option to schedule a time for a telephone consultation to deliver test results (rather than receiving an ad hoc call) which meant my neurodivergent process had one less thing to worry about.
Mr Turner’s reassuring personality and total professionalism, I find, results in a very satisfying experience. I would always recommend an appointment with Mr Turner for all urological issues.
A very professional and thorough consuiltation by Mr Turner including a clear understanding and consideration all of the options, then culminating in a positive plan to arrive at a successful conclusion. All done in a relaxed and symphathetic manner that made the very best of an otherwise stressful situation.
I consulted with Mr Turner regarding a sensitive issue, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the outset, he was professional, understanding, and put me completely at ease discussing something that while I am sure is completely routine; was not easy for me to talk about. His expertise, reassuring manner and the insightful information provided has given me complete confidence in the treatment plan and made what could have been a stressful experience much more manageable. I am extremely grateful for his support.
After a few miscommunications with my local GP on my initial examinations and likely diagnosis, I approached Kevin Turner in a somewhat desperate state to get some clarity on the situation. Kevin was honest, pragmatic and kind and expressed the optimism my with Sarah and I needed at that time. More importantly, he detailed all next steps, started me on treatment immediately and made sure that those early connections were made with the wider Pathway teams. He was available and reactive for follow up calls and advice. He was (and I believe will be) a huge support and comfort to myself and my wife in those initial weeks and I am truly grateful. I would also like to thank Michelle for managing access to Kevin brilliantly!
Kevin Turner is an excellent urological colleague who offer my patients careful and comprehensive clinical assessment and management
