Mr Szabolcs Miskolczi

Mr Miskolczi is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with over a decade of experience in performing cardiac surgery. He sees private patients at the Spire Southampton Hospital.

Mr Miskolczi qualified and trained as a cardiac surgeon at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. He qualified as a general surgeon in 2003 and as a cardiac surgeon in 2007, and joined University Hospitals Southampton as a consultant cardiac surgeon in 2012. 

Over the years he developed subspecial interest in reconstructive heart valve surgery including performing mitral valve repairs and aortic and mitral valve replacements. He also offers surgery for coronary artery disease, aneurysm of the aortic root and ascending aorta as well as minimally invasive surgery for persistent atrial fibrillation.

To date he has performed over 3,000 major heart operations with excellent outcome.
