Mr Jonathan Hobson

Jonathan is Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon with great skills and experience. He graduated from the prestigious University of Cambridge and Oxford. During his studies, he developed an interest in head and neck surgery after spending time at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.

He completed part of his surgical training in London and then worked in Manchester as an ENT registrar from 2004 to 2011. He had the opportunity to train in advance rhinology as he completed a prestigious fellowship at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia. He worked alongside some of the most renowned ENT surgeons and he developed his expertise in the surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring.

Mr Hobson is very active in other fields of the medical profession as well. He is greatly involved in medical education at the University of Manchester and he also regularly participates in audits. He is currently the clinical director for specialist surgery at Manchester University Foundation Trust with clinical responsibility for the ENT, oral & maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery & burns and trauma & orthopaedic units.

He currently treats adults and children with general ENT problems and has a special interest in snoring, sleep apnoea, thyroid lumps and cancers. His aim is to offer the best quality of care for his patients and thus heavily relies on their feedback. He is committed to providing safe healthcare, tailored to the patient's needs and wishes.
