I have recently had keyhole surgery done by Mr de’Liguori Carino to resolve a malignant insulinoma. At the initial consultation he clearly explained the condition and treatment in a calm and reassuring manner. He addressed all my queries and concerns, and this was applied throughout the treatment. Written inputs were also prompt, clear and suitably detailed. The major surgery was completed without complication, and I am well on the road to recovery. Feedback was kindly provided to a family member after the operation. Mr de’Liguori Carino has put a comprehensive future treatment plan in place. I am extremely grateful to him for the excellent care and treatment he provided. I can highly recommend him to cover surgical requirements and will actively seek to receive treatment from him again if the need ever arises.

I was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma just before Christmas and referred to Mr De’Liguori clinic a few weeks later. Despite the tumour being large and in a tricky location, Mr De’Liguori said that he would perform a resection of my liver and within a few weeks the surgery was performed. At every step Mr De’Liguori has explained everything to me extremely clearly and I have no doubt that he literally saved my life! He even offered to perform the surgery before Christmas at a cost to his personal life which shows that he goes above and beyond many others. Following a worrying period where it was thought that my wound was infected, he even pulled me out of A&E and inspected it himself. All my friends and family are extremely grateful to this amazing surgeon and thanks to him, I am now in the best possible place to face the next phase of treatment on my road to recovery.

On initial consultation the doctor took time to listen to my concerns, he then performed a comprehensive examination. He then explained the benefits and risks involved and the types of surgery available and also the option of no surgery. At no time did I feel under pressure to take a particular option. Following my operation Mr De' Liguori Carino visited my room prior to my discharge to explain how he thought the operation had gone and to explain what I should do in following my discharge and how to contact him is I had any concerns. Mr Nicola de Liguori Carino MD came highly recommended by a family friend. Living in Yorkshire we decided we would travel the extra miles and we have been delighted with every aspect of Mr de Liguori's care. At the initial consultation my husband and I were both very apprehensive as I had been diagnosed with a large liver cyst and ?? gallstones. Through Mr de liguori's experience and expertise he left us feeling positive about the situation after our first consultation. Tests were quickly put into place and procedures were all fully explained consultations never hurried and always asked if we had any questions ourselves. Surgery followed with a Cholecystectomy and a resection of the liver cyst. What I found amazing was the fact I have only two very small incisions so neat it's unbelievable.
