Mr John Va Faye

Mr Va Faye graduated in 1993 and has obtained his orthopaedic specialist registrar training and intercollegiate fellowship. He has subspecialist lower limb arthroplasty fellowship training in aspects of complex and revisional surgery

He has been focusing predominantly on lower limb revision arthroplasty and trauma. Particular focus was also on revisions for periprosthetic fractures and treatment and prevention of infected arthroplasty.

He also set up the service for open and arthroscopic treatment of femoro-acetabular impingement and related soft tissue pathologies. He has developed new techniques in the treatment of soft tissue pathologies around the hip.
