Mr James Fernandes

Mr James Fernandes is a renowned Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for both adults and children. He practices with BMI Healthcare along with a post at Sheffield Children's NHS Trust and has a special interest in foot and ankle issues, congenital birth defects and limb reconstruction. The skilled and experienced surgeon qualified from Medicine in India before moving to the UK to specialise in orthopaedics. He has completed numerous Fellowships abroad including the USA and Serbia and is currently an expert advisor to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) UK. His strong academic background has led him to the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield.
