Mr Ashok Marudanayagam

Mr Ashok Marudanayagam, is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based at United Lincolnshire with over two decades of experience. Mr Marudanayagam obtained his basic medical qualification, MBBS in 1995 and then underwent orthopaedic training and successfully completed the postgraduate orthopaedic examination in 1999. He also completed the Diplomate of National Board examination in orthopaedics and became a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India. Mr Marudanayagam then worked as a senior registrar and subsequently as Assistant professor of Orthopaedics in a prestigious University teaching hospital in India, until 2003. Ashok then underwent further higher surgical training in the United Kingdom and successfully completed FRCS (Glasg) in 2003 and FRCS (Tr & Orth) in 2010 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. He subsequently underwent Internationally recognised Fellowship programme in Foot and Ankle surgery for a year at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. He on the Specialist Register in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.

Mr Marudanayagam's private work is based at BMI, The Lincoln Hospital, Lincoln and Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough, and also does medico legal reports for personal injuries.
