Mr Ghosh was my first point of contact for my cancer treatment in the UK, having been referred from a hospital in Lagos. He explained my diagnosis and treatments simply and with clarity. He provided much needed confidence and assurance throughout the entire process. He went out of his way to ensure he had the right doctors working with him to ensure I had the best care. Mr Ghosh is extremely professional and meticulous, appointments scheduled regularly, engagements with HMO and other parties handled without any stress and most importantly, all my procedures were handled without any mistakes or complications and a high level of post-op care. I first met Dr Ghosh in 2024 at the beginning of what turned out to be a complicated bilateral breast cancer diagnosis, and he has been my breast surgeon throughout my treatment, and I feel extremely fortunate to have had him as part of my medical team. He has always kept me informed about the decisions being made and the reasoning behind them. At each stage, he took the time to discuss the relevant treatment and surgical options with me so that I felt involved and understood what was happening. One decision that made a particularly significant difference was his recommendation to have a targeted axillary dissection (TAD) before my full DIEP flap surgery. Given the complexity of my case, this helped make the subsequent surgery and recovery considerably more manageable, and I remain very grateful for his judgement and guidance. More recently (2026), I discovered a lump, which was understandably worrying given my history. Dr Ghosh assessed it and performed a local excision, which thankfully confirmed it was a fibroadenoma. Once again, I felt that my concern was taken seriously and dealt with promptly and thoroughly. The standard of care I have received from him and his team has been exceptional. After surgery, Dr Ghosh always makes a point of coming to check on me, and I have never felt like just another patient. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable, but also kind, approachable and genuinely concerned about my wellbeing.
