Mr David Mahon

Mr David Mahon is an upper GI and Bariatric Surgeon, working at the Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital and Musgrove Park Hospital, treating both NHS and private patients. His areas of interest include laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia surgery, upper gastro-intestinal disease, reflux surgery and obesity surgery.

Mr Mahon graduated from The University of Sheffield in 1993 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees, he became fully registered in August 1994. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1999. He was awarded a Doctorate in 2006. He has many professional memberships and utilises his expertise to participate in a number of specialist committees together with governmental bodies, including NICE, the Royal College of Surgeons and Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
