Dr. Charles Bain is a fully accredited, U.K. Board Certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon. He graduated in Medicine with Honours (First Class equivalent) from Bristol University, where he also completed a BSc in medical ethics (First Class). He undertook his plastic surgery training in prestigious London teaching hospitals (including Chelsea & Westminster and St. Mary’s Paddington) and gained the Specialist Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, FRCS(Plast), in 2015.
Dr. Charles Bain went on to secure a nationally competitive cosmetic fellowship where he learned from internationally renowned Cosmetic Surgeons at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London Clinic, Wellington Hospital, Cromwell Hospital and King Edward VII. He also completed fellowship training in world-class plastic surgery units in Trauma Reconstruction at Imperial College, London and internationally in Hand Surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Charles Bain was awarded a Distinction for his Master’s degree in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and has published book chapters and several scientific papers in the fields of cosmetic surgery and hand surgery. He has also completed the Hand Surgery Diploma, the highest sub-specialty qualification in hand surgery.
Prior to moving to the American Hospital, Dubai, Dr. Charles Bain was a Consultant and teaching lead in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Guys’ and St Thomas’ Hospital, London in the NHS with a private practice in Cosmetic Surgery in Harley Street and The Shard, London.
Dr. Charles Bain offers the full range of surgical and non-surgical interventions. His special interests include cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, general plastic surgery and non-surgical cosmetic procedures. He is invited faculty on a number of plastic surgery training courses and uses the latest modern and innovative techniques to achieve excellent and natural-looking results

I cannot recommend Mr Bain highly enough! He was very kind and professional throughout all our appointments. He explained the procedure throughly, and made me feel secure to proceed with it. Mr Bain inspires the utmost confidence. He is relaxed, caring and attentive, making one feel totally at ease. He has treated me on a number of occasions, and the quality of the care is always exceptional. He almost makes it worth needing treatment!

I had an Abdominoplasty and mastopexy under the care of Dr Bain. On meeting Dr Bain I instantly felt comfortable and reassured. From my first appointment everything has been clearly explained, never rushed and all my questions answered. The surgery went well, Dr Bain was there immediately after and the following day. Since the operation communication has been outstanding. The results of my surgery has so far exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend Dr Bain and his team Ricci.
