Mr Amol Tambe

Mr Amol Tambe is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery. He is very experienced in treating the complete spectrum of conditions in these joints and in shoulder/elbow trauma reconstruction.

After completing his medical degree, Mr Tambe gained his specialisation in the reputed Nottingham Shoulder Unit and the Derby Hand Unit. He then went on to complete a year in the renowned Wrightington Upper Limb Unit working with experts in the field. He was awarded the prestigious British Elbow and Shoulder Society Travelling Fellowship in 2008 as well as the AO Foundation Fellowship, which allowed him to gain invaluable experience in centres of excellence both within the UK, Europe and in America.

Mr Tambe has published widely in clinical journals, and regularly presents his work in conferences around the world. He enjoys teaching junior shoulder surgeons and was appointed Honorary Associate Professor by the University of Nottingham in 2014 in recognition of his teaching and research commitments.
