Dr Mohammed Rahman

Dr Mohammed Rahman is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician who provides compassionate, patient-centred care for infants, children, and young adults. Dedicated to supporting young patients and their families, he offers comprehensive evaluations and tailored treatment strategies across a broad spectrum of childhood medical conditions. Dr Rahman is committed to ensuring that every child receives attentive, holistic healthcare designed to meet their specific developmental and health requirements.

Specialising in general paediatric medicine, Dr Rahman has a strong clinical interest in paediatric endocrinology, diabetes, and growth disorders. His expertise includes the management of hormone imbalances, hypothyroidism, and puberty disorders, alongside common and complex paediatric presentations such as abdominal pain, constipation, digestive issues, headaches, urinary tract infections, and bowel or bladder difficulties. Furthermore, he evaluates and manages respiratory, cardiovascular, and physical developmental concerns, including asthma, chronic cough, heart murmurs, and gait abnormalities.

Dr Rahman completed his primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), at the University of Madras in 1988. He went on to undertake extensive postgraduate training in the United Kingdom, obtaining his Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 1994, followed by Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in 1998. To complement his clinical expertise, he earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCME) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2000. He maintains professional memberships with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and the Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association (HCSA).
