Mr Matyas Fehervari

I met Mr Fehervari twice regarding my requirement for double inguinal hernia surgery, once in October 2025 (meeting), and then in February 2026 (surgery). The first time I met him I found him to be very personable, warm and friendly, a professional person. I felt I could ask him anything and he was very happy and willing to answer. On the day of surgery, it was a pleasure to meet Matyas again, and again, I felt the same positive way - essentially I knew I was in good hands and could trust him 100%. I will admit that I was worried about how big the surgical scars I'd be left with would be (imagining they'd be a couple of inches each) but I never mentioned this concern at all. Before the operation, Matyas's examined me one final time and believed that I only had one hernia and not two, and this did indeed turn out to be the case. Needless to say everything went smoothly with the surgery and now, some 4 weeks afterwards I can honestly say that I am recovering better than I ever imagined, and those scars I was worried about ended being super tiny, less than a cm and barely visible. A very pleasant experience which went entirely smoothly from start to finish. Thank you so much Mr Fehervari, I could not be happier with you and your work.

Mr Fehervari provided the best possible care and a completely pain- free operation and recovery. As a first-time surgery patient I had been apprehensive, but following two consultations prior to surgery I felt completely confident. I believe Mr Fehervari’s professionalism and skill as both a consultant surgeon to be outstanding. He is also an excellent communicator who listens carefully and addresses even minor concerns.

The consultant has an easy manner that translates into putting me the patient at ease. Great at explaining what he will be doing in theatre. He will be missed at Fordcombe.

I could not have had a more perfect experience with Mr. Matyas Fehervari. I felt very comfortable in all aspects of his care of me from my first consultation to my operation which was a painless procedure. His bedside manner was charming and I felt like I had known him forever. I must also thank his team for everything they did to make sure I was looked after.
