Mr Matyas Fehervari

I am a Consultant Surgeon specialising in anti-reflux and bariatric surgery, advanced endoscopy, gallbladder surgery, hernia repairs and various general surgical conditions. My approach emphasises personalised, compassionate care, with clear communication and supportive guidance at every step.

After my surgical training, I completed a Royal College of Surgeons Fellowship in anti-reflux and bariatric surgery, followed by international Travel Fellowships at IRCAD in Strasbourg, France, and Mayo Clinic in the USA. These opportunities allowed me to refine minimally invasive techniques, delivering effective treatments and excellent outcomes for my patients.

On the academic side, I hold two master’s degrees and a PhD, and my work has been published in respected medical journals. I am recognised by the General Medical Council as an Educational Supervisor and regularly mentor junior surgeons. I am a member on national and international surgical and endoscopy committees, reflecting my commitment to high clinical standards and patient safety.

Away from work, I am a dedicated family man who enjoys cycling, reading literature, attending the theatre, and fishing with my son and daughter.
