Mr Martin Maida

Dr Martin Maida is a Consultant Gastroenterologist practising at Clarity Healthcare, with clinics in Basingstoke, Ilford, Stevenage, Swindon and Worthing. He manages a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, with specialist interests in endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional bowel disorders. He regularly works alongside dietitians to provide integrated care for patients with these conditions.

Dr Maida began his medical education at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, before continuing his studies at University College London and the College of Medicine in Malawi, giving him an international perspective on healthcare. He completed his specialist training in gastroenterology and endoscopy in South Wales in 2006. Since then, he has worked as a consultant gastroenterologist in a number of locations across the UK, including South Wales, Scotland, Swindon, Weston-super-Mare, Bath, and Gloucestershire.
