Was very pleased overall with my experience. I had both eyes treated in the same visit and found that this was best for me. Mr Alam kept me fully informed of what he was doing during the treatment. This helped me stay calm as I am of a nervous disposition. Other staff were also friendly, helpful, and informative.

The consultation and the surgery went very well, staff were friendly and efficient. The lead up with the appointment was a bit discouraging with the lack of communication. The “pencilled in” initial date came and passed with me having to phone to get an update, was told the next “pencilled in” date would be confirmed when my lenses arrived, on my next phone enquiry I discovered the lens had yet to be ordered, after me emailing to get an update two days later had a return phone call to inform me the lenses had been ordered the day after my previous enquiry. Finally on 01/09/2025 got a date for the surgery on 05/09/2025. Non of this would have been a problem if I had been kept up to date with what was happening, but as I was trying to organise around not being able to drive this was rather frustrating. One other very small thing was after paying over £8000 for surgery being told I would have to go to pharmacist to purchase tape for the eye shield to be worn at night did not seem like very good PR to me.
