Lovely experience from start to finish, Dr Alam and all his staff made me feel very confident that I was going to be looked after and I was superbly.

This is the first time since I was 8 when I've not needed to have glasses. I can only highly recommend Dr Mostafa Alam for his excellent professional care and follow up .
I am disappointed with the outcome. I didn’t want to be long sighted and I knew about refractive surprise, but I am more shortsighted than I expected, I have astigmatism and light artefacts at night. Dr Alam advised (after one week) that this would improve, but itgas got worse as the eye healed.

I was very nervous about my cataract procedure. Dr. Alam was reassuring, answered my many questions with patience and was cautious and meticulous about checking every detail before the operation.
This was my second cataract surgery six weeks after my first, and all the staff, reception, nurses and Mr. Alam, were kind, friendly and professional. Mr. Alam spoke to me pre-surgery and he was very amicable with a pleasant and relaxed persona.
I had a detached retina in Feb 25 I was seen quickly & professionally & the surgery I had was very successful .
Mr Alam is clearly a top rate highly experienced ophthalmic surgeon. He was very informative during sessions prior to the surgery. Despite my naivety he answered all my queries in such a way as a lay person could easily comprehend. During the operation he informed me of what he was doing, giving me clear instructions as to what I should do myself. I am not an easy person to deal with in situations which are out of my control; but Mr Alam was able to put my mind at rest as he confidently performed the operation. I would be most happy to recommend Mr Alam to anyone who needed treatment for their vision.
