Dr Maimuna Mushabe

Dr Maimuna Mushabe is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert medical care to infants, children, and young people. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering comprehensive healthcare tailored to the unique clinical needs of young patients and their families. Her practice encompasses a broad spectrum of general paediatric health concerns, ensuring that children receive attentive, high-quality, evidence-based care.

Dr Mushabe has a special clinical interest in paediatric epilepsy and complex neurological conditions affecting children and young people. In addition to managing childhood seizure disorders, her focus includes advancing care services for paediatric sickle cell disease and supporting neonatal healthcare. She is passionately committed to ensuring equitable access to healthcare and working closely alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes for every child.

Dr Mushabe completed her primary medical degree at Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda. She subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom to complete her postgraduate specialist medical training across hospitals in London and Wessex, obtaining her Certificate of Completion of Training in Paediatrics in 2015. Alongside her clinical practice, she has pursued executive management education, including a Master of Business Administration, to support healthcare leadership and clinical service improvement.
