Dr Luca Campana is a highly skilled General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist who provides expert, compassionate care for patients requiring complex surgical treatment. Taking a patient-centred approach, Dr Campana works closely alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to design tailored management plans that prioritise individual wellbeing, patient safety, and optimal clinical outcomes.

Dr Campana possesses extensive expertise across a broad range of surgical disciplines, specialising in the management of advanced colorectal malignancies, bowel cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, and skin cancers including melanoma. His clinical focus encompasses cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), colorectal cancer screening, locoregional cancer therapies, and electrochemotherapy. Furthermore, he maintains an active clinical interest in tumour immunology, cancer immunotherapy, novel surgical technologies, and multimodality oncological treatment strategies.

Dr Campana completed his medical degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2003. He subsequently undertook specialist post-graduate training in General Surgery with a focus on Surgical Oncology, qualifying in 2009, before earning a PhD in Oncology and Surgical Oncology in 2013. Continuing his commitment to surgical excellence, he completed an advanced fellowship in Colorectal, Pelvic, and Peritoneal Oncology in 2021. Dr Campana maintains active professional membership with the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland.
