Dr Sharon Lim

Dr. Sharon Lim is a highly respected Consultant Paediatrician at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, specialising in growth disorders and various common childhood conditions, including obesity, puberty, and thyroid disorders.

Dr. Lim's extensive training began at Leicester University, followed by postgraduate paediatric training at renowned institutions such as Alderhey Childrens’ Hospital in Liverpool, Hammersmith Hospital, Great Ormond Street, and Saint Bartholomew's Hospital in London. During her training, she conducted research in Paediatric Endocrinology, focusing on bone metabolism and growth.

Currently serving as a consultant paediatrician at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford since 1999, Dr. Lim holds the position of paediatric endocrine and diabetes clinical lead. Her dedication to her field is evident through her involvement in various professional memberships, including the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinologists, the British Medical Association, and the Medical Protection Society. Additionally, Dr. Lim is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
