Dr Helen Van Lloyd

Dr Helen Van Lloyd is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who serves as a Lead Consultant in Neonatology. She provides comprehensive medical care for infants, young children, and adolescents, combining clinical diligence with a compassionate, family-centred approach. Her practice encompasses both acute and general paediatric care, ensuring that young patients receive tailored medical support across every stage of early childhood development.

With sub-specialty expertise in neonatology, Dr Van Lloyd routinely manages intensive, high-dependency, and special care services for newborn infants. Her clinical skills include performing essential neonatal procedures, such as neonatal resuscitation, intravenous cannulation, lumbar punctures, and umbilical line insertion. She also attends labour wards to deliver immediate clinical intervention for newborns requiring specialised support and oversees routine postnatal care.

Dr Van Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) and is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Dedicated to maintaining high standards of clinical governance and medical education, she actively participates in teaching medical students and mentoring resident doctors.
