Dr Hani Ayyash

Dr Hani Ayyash is a highly respected Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician who specialises in community child health and neurodevelopmental disorders. He serves as a Clinical Lead for Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics, focusing on the assessment, diagnosis, and holistic management of children and young people. Reassuring and dedicated, Dr Ayyash is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care that supports both children and their families through complex developmental journeys.

With a deep clinical interest in child mental health and behavioural paediatrics, Dr Ayyash provides expert care for a wide range of conditions. His areas of expertise include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sleep disorders, and motor skills development. He also focuses on community paediatrics, neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, and the coordination of integrated care pathways to ensure that young patients receive seamless support across medical and educational settings.

Dr Ayyash has an extensive academic and professional background. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Master of Medical Sciences (MMedSci), a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychiatry (PGDipPsych). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) and a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Additionally, he contributes to the wider medical community as a Scientific Committee Member of the British Paediatric Surveillance Unit (BPSU) and an Executive Committee Member of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Surveillance System (CAPSS) within the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
