Dr. Goher Rahbour

Dr. Goher Rahbour is a Consultant General Surgeon with specialist expertise in colorectal and general surgical care. He offers thorough assessment, diagnosis, and surgical management for patients presenting with a wide variety of abdominal and intestinal conditions. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, Dr. Rahbour works closely with each patient to tailor treatment plans that prioritise patient well-being, recovery, and long-term health.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Rahbour focuses on minimally invasive procedures, utilising advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques to treat both benign and malignant disorders. His clinical interests encompass colorectal cancer management, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, pelvic floor disorders, and complex proctological conditions. His procedural scope includes laparoscopic bowel resections, total mesorectal excision, abdominoperineal excision of the rectum, fistulotomy, anal fissure and haemorrhoid care, alongside sacral and posterior tibial nerve stimulation for faecal incontinence and bowel motility disorders.

Dr. Rahbour earned his undergraduate medical qualifications, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). He subsequently completed advanced postgraduate training, achieving a Master of Research (MD Res), Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). He further enhanced his clinical expertise by completing a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery. Dr. Rahbour is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and maintains active involvement in surgical education and clinical research.
